  2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the ‘Booking In’ form and any other documentation between us is accurate.
  3. All vehicles must be supplied with the O.E.M. tool kit and locking wheel nut keys for removing and fitting wheels, where applicable.
  4. All vehicles must be fully covered by your personal insurance whilst left with Wheel Class.
  5. Wheel Class does not accept responsibility for the safe transport of wheels delivered and/or collected by courier; you should ensure that any courier you use is adequately insured.
  6. It is your sole responsibility to check the condition of your tyres to ensure that they conform to all safety and legal requirements. We can supply and fit replacement tyres upon request.
  7. Wheels not collected after three months, if unpaid, will be sold to recoup the costs incurred.
  8. Wheel Class shall not be liable for any failure to perform any of its obligations to you where the failure is due to circumstances beyond the Wheel Class’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, Act of God, war, civil disturbance, flood, lightning or fire, industrial action or lockouts, the act or omission of Government or any agent thereof, the act or omission of any person for whom Wheel Class is not responsible.
  9. Wheel Class reserves the right to revise and amend these terms from time to time. You will be subject to the terms in force at the time of the booking.
  10. We will perform the services selected by you from our customer service options. We will use all reasonable skill and care in performing the services.
  11. We will use all reasonable endeavours to complete the services by the time and day we have stated that the services should be performed by.
  12. In the event that we cannot complete the services on the designated day we will seek to contact you and arrange for the services to be completed on the soonest available subsequent day. But we will accept no liability for failing to perform services on time, or not at all.
  13. You must disclose to us all defects, damage, or weakness in your vehicle, known or suspected by you, which may be affected by the services, prior to our commencing with the repair process.
  14. We do not undertake to insure your vehicle against loss while it is in our possession. Insurance of your vehicle is at all times your responsibility.
  15. You will pay us for performing the services at the price agreed prior to the work being carried out.
  16. You shall pay us in full before you uplift your vehicle. We shall be entitled to a lien over your vehicle entitling us to retain it, and not release it to you until you have made payment in full to us. Your vehicle will remain with us, at your risk, until any such late payment is made.
  17. Some defects such as poor casting, cracks or excessive corrosion may only become apparent after a wheel has been stripped, in such instances the customer will be contacted to discuss the options available (which may involve additional charges). However, if in Wheel Class’ opinion the wheel is unsafe no further refurbishment work will be undertaken and the wheel will be returned, or at the customer’s discretion destroyed. In such circumstances there will be no charge to the customer for the work performed on the wheel, nor will any compensation be due to the customer from Wheel Class in respect of the wheel.
  18. The refurbishment of diamond cut wheels requires the removal of a small amount of surface metal. Customers should be aware that this may limit the number of times such wheels can be refurbished using this method. Mapping lines and de-burring edges will be evident. Centre caps/M Badges may sit proud.
  19. Where wheels are supplied for refurbishment with tyres, Wheel Class will refit the tyres with new rubber valves (snap in/metal valves will incur an additional cost) and balance the wheels. Customers should note that run flat tyres can easily be damaged when being removed and refitted and therefore work on wheels with these tyres fitted is done so at the customer’s own risk. Whilst Wheel Class will remove sensor valves, no responsibility can be taken for the removal or refitting of such valves and no guarantee can be provided in respect of the operation of the sensors. If tyres fail to meet minimum legal requirements or are damaged, Wheel Class reserves the right not to refit the tyres. Customers are advised to check their tyre pressures according to manufacturers recommendations.
  20. In general, the refurbishment of a wheel should be completed within 3 working days, however if at any stage during the refurbishment process a wheel does not reach the required level of quality, this may delay the expected completion date of the work. Exceptions to these timescales are split rim wheels, magnesium wheels, steel wheels and motorcycle wheels, all of which will take a minimum of 1 week to refurbish. Timescales for custom or bespoke finishes will be quoted on a case by case basis.
  21. Repairs requiring welding and straightening involve heating the damaged area; on the inside of the wheel this may not be visible but if on the outside of the wheel then it is highly likely that the paint finish will be adversely affected. Wheel Class cannot accept responsibility for such damage and will recommend that the customer have the wheel refurbished. The process of straightening a wheel involves considerable forces being applied to the wheel and Wheel Class cannot guarantee that the wheel will not crack as a result and thereby become unusable. Such repairs are undertaken at the customer’s own risk.
  22. Wheel Class provide a full 12 months guarantee with all their work. The guarantee is applicable and valid for the owner at the time of when the service was performed by Wheel Class for the duration of 12 months and is non-transferable upon the sale of the vehicle to the new owner. Kerb damage & stone chips will not be covered under the guarantee.
  23. Damaged tyres will not be our liability and will not be remounted onto wheels as a legal requirement.
  24. Limitations to corroded wheels: Corroded wheels depending on the extent of the corrosion into the metal will be treated with additional steps of Vapour Blasting and the use of high build powder primers in an attempt to aesthetically improve the appearance of the wheel. These additional steps cannot always guarantee the quality intended as it is subject to the damage we are faced with.
  25. Limitations to Diamond Cut Wheels Repairs: Any deep gouges requiring aluminium welding to build up the surface of the face of the wheel can sometimes leave behind minute pin holes; these are known as hydrogen pockets that potentially form during the welding process and only show once the diamond cutting process is complete. This occurs in around 10% of diamond cut wheels.
  26. Wheel Class does not take any liability or responsibility for the failure of TPMS due to reduced battery life or any other unknown defect. We take all reasonable care during the removal and re-fitting process of TPMS valves, but again we cannot be held responsible for any damage during this process.
  27. Split Rim Bolts: Split rim bolts may have to be re-ordered at an extra cost should they snap or split upon removal due to corrosion. (Subject to availability) Once again we take all reasonable care when removing the bolts and cannot be held responsible should they break or snap.
